uPVC windows are made from unplasticised polyvinyl chloride profiles reinforced with steel. They are rigid, weather-resistant and low-maintenance, and do not rot, rust or attract termites.
uPVC windows significantly reduce outside noise because the frames seal tightly with gaskets. Pairing them with laminated or double glazing improves sound insulation further — useful near busy roads or beach shacks.
Good-quality uPVC profiles are UV-stabilised to resist yellowing. ABR Engitech uses Gelan uPVC profiles for its uPVC windows and doors.
Wipe frames with mild soapy water and a soft cloth, keep the sliding tracks free of sand and dust, and occasionally lubricate the hardware. uPVC never needs painting or polishing.
Yes. Arch, Georgian bar and French-style uPVC windows and doors can match the look of traditional Goan and Indo-Portuguese homes while adding modern performance.
We offer clear, frosted, tinted, toughened, laminated and double-glazed units depending on safety, privacy, heat and noise needs.
Yes. ABR Engitech also fabricates industrial roofs, sheds and monitor roofs, along with powder coating job work for metal components.
Yes. uPVC does not rust in salty coastal air, does not swell or rot in monsoon humidity and is not attacked by termites. Properly installed uPVC windows with good gaskets also keep wind-driven rain and dust out, which is why they are widely used in coastal Goa.
ABR Engitech fabricates its uPVC windows and doors using Gelan uPVC profiles, combined with hardware and glass selected for each project.
The price depends on the window style, size, glass type (single, toughened, laminated or double glazed), finish and hardware. Sliding windows are usually the most economical; tilt & turn and slide & fold systems cost more. ABR Engitech gives a free, itemised quote after measuring your openings.
Yes. We remove the existing frames, prepare the opening and install new made-to-measure uPVC windows. Most homes can be done room by room with minimal disruption.
Yes. Along with classic white, uPVC windows and doors are available in wood-grain laminated finishes that give the look of timber without polishing, warping or termite issues.
Timelines depend on the number of openings and the system chosen. After the site measurement and order confirmation, our team shares a fabrication and installation schedule for your project.
Both work well when properly made. uPVC gives better thermal and sound insulation at a lower cost and is ideal for homes. Aluminium allows slimmer frames and much larger glass panels, so it suits modern villas, hotels and commercial spaces. ABR Engitech fabricates both and can recommend the right one for each opening.
Bare aluminium can oxidise in salty air, which is why the finish matters. A correctly pre-treated, pure polyester powder coating protects aluminium frames in coastal conditions. ABR Engitech powder coats aluminium in-house.
Yes. We fabricate large-format aluminium doors up to around 4 metres, depending on the system, glass and site conditions.
Yes. Since we run our own powder coating line, aluminium frames can be finished in a wide range of RAL shades, matte or glossy.
Shower cubicles should always use toughened safety glass, which is several times stronger than ordinary glass and breaks into small blunt pieces if damaged. ABR Engitech uses toughened glass for all shower enclosures.
Yes. We measure the space and fabricate the enclosure to fit, including uneven walls or floors common in older homes.
A sliding shower cubicle is usually best for small bathrooms because the doors do not need any swing space.
Yes. We supply and install shower cubicles in multiple bathrooms for hotels, resorts, villas and rental properties across Goa.
We powder coat both ferrous and non-ferrous metals, including aluminium, mild steel (MS), galvanised iron (GI) and stainless steel (SS).
Epoxy powder gives excellent adhesion and chemical resistance but can chalk in direct sunlight, so it is best indoors. Pure polyester powder resists UV and weather, so it is the right choice for exterior and coastal use.
Yes. Along with coating our own products, ABR Engitech takes powder coating job work from fabricators, builders, contractors and manufacturers in Goa.
For most metal parts, yes. Powder coating produces a thicker, more uniform, more chip-resistant and longer-lasting finish than liquid paint, with no solvents.
Toughened glass is heat-treated to be several times stronger than ordinary glass and shatters into small blunt pieces. Laminated glass has a plastic interlayer that holds the pieces together if it breaks and also cuts noise. ABR Engitech supplies both.
Yes. We fabricate and install glass partitions for offices, clinics, showrooms and commercial spaces across Goa.
Yes. We install frameless toughened glass doors with patch fittings and floor springs for shop fronts and office entrances.
For sea-facing or beach-side properties, SS 316 is recommended because it contains molybdenum and resists salt-air corrosion better. SS 304 is suitable for indoor and inland applications.
Yes, when made with toughened or laminated safety glass of the right thickness and fixed with suitable hardware. ABR Engitech specifies the glass and fixing for each balcony or staircase.
